Sky

Sky 2

Shot from the moving train on my regular commute home (doing about 90mph)... very much pot luck whether something blurs past in the foreground and ruins the shot, even at 1/3000th. Contrast/curve adjustment in Lightroom.

Sun Dance

Sun Dance

On the beach near Thorness, if I remember correctly. It's a crop from a slightly bigger shot, once again using SF's loaner Sigma. For all it only works on a Canon DSLR wide open, it's a great fun lens to have on the camera.

Sundown

Sundown

Another moment of blind luck - I turned, saw this...

It's funny, though, the more I carry a camera around, the luckier I get.

Shot on the Isle of Wight in summer '06, on a deliberate walk down to the beach at sunset - deliberate in the sense of with the intent to take photos.

Wings

Wings

Trafalgar Square's pigeons. I was just lining up to take a shot of a pigeon sat on the fencing they're putting up for the Tour de France start on the 7th July, and someone walking behind me startled a whole bunch of them.

Needless to say, I ducked, so this is a complete fluke.
